Linear functions are one of the most important and basic of functions that students study in algebra. In this program, our presenter Sharpie show students the different forms of linear functions; tables, graphs and equations. Students explore the concept of the y-intercept and learn how determine the slope of a line given any two points on the line. Students plot linear graphs from linear equations and discover with the gradient and y-intercept they can not only sketch the linear graph but also determine the linear equation for a line.
