Each program in the series features four senior citizens recalling their memories and participation in a major event in Canadian history. Seldom represented in the mass media, these are the people who lived through the Great Depression; who fought in World War 2; who farmed the land, built the cities and who raised their families during the first part of this Century. Their personal stories; their hopes and fears; struggles and successes; loves and losses, and the values that sustained them are waiting to be shared.
